What’s the Difference Between Aligned Action & Forced Action?

When manifesting your dreams and desires, it’s a natural feeling to want your desires to be received in the exact way you see it in your minds eye. You think, “I want my dream car, so I need to do x,y and z to receive it in this exact way”. As physical beings, we depend so much on what we see in our physical circumstances, that we forget our Subconscious Mind and imagination are the keys to creating our desired realities.

“I’ll see it when I believe it” is a mantra I love to use when I’m in the mindset of lack around my desires. Create it in your mind first, and then you will see it in your physical reality. Why does this work so well? Because your Subconscious Mind has no limitations. It takes your ideal imagined scenario and says, “Okay, that looks great! I believe you, let’s make this true”.

It doesn’t need physical proof to believe the same way your Conscious Mind does. If you’ve read any Dr. Joseph Murphy book or listened to Neville Goddard, you know that the believing comes first. But as I said, we are physical beings, and we like physical proof.

There is no shame in taking action towards your desires, and the same way you take action towards your goals is the same way you can do so towards the desires you are manifesting. But how do you know if you are receiving your desires by being in alignment with the frequency of having, or receiving out of control and fear?

You’ll know you are taking forced action because it feels pushy, controlling and needy. It is loud and insists that you act right away other wise you will lose the opportunity forever. You know your body better than anyone else, so when you feel tightness in your chest or a headache out of no where, chances are it is anxiety and fear that is pushing you to make a decision. This not only puts you in fight-or-flight mode, but you inevitably lose trust in yourself, feeling as though you are controlled by your anxious feelings.

The truth is, when you take forceful action to receive your desires and manipulate your 3D reality, you never end up receiving what you truly want. Controlling signals lack and distrust. Maybe The Universe has your desires waiting for you in even better ways than you imagined, but because of the forced action taken, you told The Universe, “Back off, I got this”.

On the other hand, when you take aligned action it is felt through your intuition. It does not yell, it does not feel fearful, and it does not push. It gently whispers, “You should go there, call this person, test drive that car”. It’s the inner advice that rationally makes no sense, but has such a strong pull on your gut feeling that you have no choice but to follow it. Plain and simple, aligned action will never leave you second guessing, and will always make you feel good.

You can look at aligned action as messages from The Universe, your Higher Self, your Spirit Guides, your Guardian Angels & Archangels, etc. The list goes on. There are no rules, as long as it feels Divinely guided and makes you feel good, you know you’re being guided on the right path.

Aligned action starts to feel cloudy when you give yourself the chance to second guess, question and overthink. The rational mind loves familiarity, and so when we are presented with an idea or nudge that is new and out of our comfort zone, our Conscious Mind wants us to curl back up into our shell and overthink our initial feelings.

This is why playing with your intuition and learning how to trust it is a sacred and important practice. Because the more you know what is from your intuition and what is from your fear, you will be able to take aligned action that always feels good when manifesting your desires.

I encourage you to try to release the urge to control, and stop blocking your blessings the next time you find yourself wanting physical proof. Take aligned action when it feels good, and in the mean time continue doing the inner work on your mind, body and soul to truly align with the confidence to take beautiful, loving aligned action.
